Your Role
As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement for over 1200 employees.
This is a fully remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from home while making a meaningful impact across our national team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end payroll processing
- Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, awards and HR best practice
- Manage Worker’s compensation and Portable Long Service Leave
- Investigation of pay issues
- Maintaining accurate people data and upholding data integrity
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll efficiency and effectiveness
- Generate HR Reports
About You
You are an enthusiastic and proactive payroll professional, you’ll bring deep expertise in payroll legislation coupled with your solid experience in TechnologyOne HRIS.
You will also have:
- Significant experience in payroll processing including workers compensation
- Strong understanding of time and attendance systems including the ability to test and implement changes to award interpretation as required
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, ideally including the SCHADS and Nursing Awards
- An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to self-manage your time and priorities in a remote working environment
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
Your Benefits
This role attracts a salary of $94,778 plus super and is eligible for not-for-profit salary packaging of up to $18,500 per annum.
