Are you the person people turn to when a system isn’t behaving — and you’re comfortable getting under the hood to work out why?

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Systems Analyst to join our close-knit Business Systems team for a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands-on role with two key areas of focus: application support and MS SQL. We need someone who can step in with confidence, quickly understand our environment and become a trusted technical problem solver for the organisation.

At integratedliving, our technology helps our people deliver health and wellbeing services to individuals across rural, regional and remote Australia.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be one of our go-to people for technical application support, working across the organisation to investigate issues, solve problems and keep our critical business systems running.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing hands-on technical and application support across business-critical systems
  • Managing and resolving support requests through ServiceNow
  • Investigating system issues and seeing them through to resolution rather than simply escalating them
  • Using MS SQL to develop, maintain and run scripts, queries and data extracts
  • Partnering closely with the Finance team to run weekly and monthly scripts, extract data and undertake data cleansing activities
  • Troubleshooting data and application issues and identifying practical solutions
  • Working with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve functional and technical issues
  • Supporting the administration and ongoing maintenance of business applications
  • Maintaining clear application support documentation, processes and procedures
  • Supporting the organisation as it works through changes to its technology and systems environment

The position description specifically identifies experience developing and maintaining reporting solutions using MS SQL, supporting business users and diagnosing technical issues as key requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Application support experience is essential for this role.

We’re looking for someone who has the technical capability and confidence to hit the ground running. You won’t need to know every answer on day one, but you will need to be someone who enjoys investigating a problem, working through the detail and finding the answer.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Strong, demonstrated application support experience – essential
  • Strong working knowledge and practical experience with MS SQL – essential
  • Experience writing and running SQL queries/scripts for data extraction, cleansing and reporting
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-diagnosis skills
  • Experience supporting and administering business applications
  • Confidence working directly with users to investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Experience working with ticketing/service-management platforms such as ServiceNow
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy operational environment
  • Experience with web services/APIs would be highly regarded
  • Experience with application management and/or Mobile Device Management (MDM) environments would also be advantageous

Experience with systems such as MTA, TRACCS, Hayylo or similar platforms would be beneficial, but what matters most is your ability to quickly understand unfamiliar systems and confidently support them.

Just as Important – Who You Are

Technical capability will get you through the door, but how you work with people matters just as much.
