integratedliving Australia is seeking a dynamic Wellness Centre Coordinator to lead our team in Cairns. If you're a qualified Personal Trainer with a talent for building relationships and a heart for supporting older Australians, we’d love to hear from you.

 

The Opportunity

Location: Cairns Wellness Centre
Schedule: Permanent Full-Time | Monday to Friday – no weekends!
Salary: $64,465 + 11.5% super + up to $18.5K salary packaging

 

As the Wellness Centre Coordinator, you’ll be a vital part of our Allied Health team, helping to empower older Australians to live healthier, more independent lives. If you've got personal trainer qualifications and want to manage the center while still helping others live their best lives, this is the perfect role for you!

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Centre Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations and ensure a welcoming, well-run centre
  • Client Engagement: Support clients with a mix of social and fitness-focused programs
  • Event Planning: Organise engaging wellness activities like group fitness, morning teas, and health events
  • Community Outreach: Promote our centre and virtual services by building relationships with local GPs, businesses, and community groups
  • Support Group Classes: Use your PT experience to assist Exercise Physiologists in delivering fun, functional movement sessions

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in sales, customer service, or fitness/gym management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A strong sense of initiative and ability to manage centre operations
  • A passion for community wellbeing and person-centred service
  • A friendly, approachable attitude and willingness to collaborate

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Fitness (Personal Trainer)
  • Registration with AUSactive (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transport
  • Willing to travel locally in 30 minutes radius for community engagement activities
  • Willingness to obtain an International Police Check if required
