What’s the Role?

  • As an Allied Health Assistant, you will support the delivery of wellness services, ensuring clients receive high-quality care and guidance. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist clients with exercise programs, group or individual sessions, and daily activities to promote independence and wellbeing.
  • Support allied health professionals in client assessments and care plan development, escalating any concerns appropriately.
  • Build strong rapport with clients and carers, provide guidance, and promote participation in wellness programs.
  • Maintain accurate progress notes, track client outcomes, and contribute to service audits and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure timely service delivery and an outstanding client experience.
  • Promote, model, and embed a client-focused and partnering culture to create a signature client experience unique to integratedliving

 

Role Requirements: Qualifications & Credentials

  • Certificate IV – Allied Health Assistant, specialising in: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Exercise OR
  • Current Allied Health Student (Physiotherapy, OT, Dietetics, Podiatry, nursing etc.) with at least one year completed and at least one clinical placement.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and reporting abilities.
  • Proficient with technology including mobile platforms and telehealth.
  • Experience in consumer-directed care and multidisciplinary collaborative practices.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Satisfactory Police Check & WWCC/WWVP/Blue Card.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Current First Aid & CPR.
