About the Role:
- Permanent Full-Time - 38 hours/week (Monday to Friday)
- Based in our state-of-the-art Cairns Wellness Centre
- Focused on older adults and those with chronic conditions
- Collaborate closely with allied health professionals to deliver tailored care plans
What You’ll Be Doing:
At integratedliving, we’re dedicated to promoting the well-being of aged and vulnerable clients, helping them live independent lives in their communities. As an Exercise Physiologist or Personal Trainer, you'll be part of a passionate team focused on delivering tailored health plans and exercise programs to older clients, addressing the complex issues that come with aging.
As an Exercise Physiologist:
- You'll work at our Cairns Wellness Centres, assessing client health and creating personalized plans. Join a supportive, highly skilled Allied Health team where collaboration leads to the best client outcomes. You'll also have continuous professional development opportunities and contribute your expertise to educate and guide your peers.
- In this role, you'll be involved in complex work, building relationships with local stakeholders, promoting our Wellness Gym programs, and supporting our client-centric care framework.

As a Personal Trainer:
- Deliver and supervise group and individualized exercise programs
- Provide hands-on guidance, motivation, and support to help clients achieve their goals
- Facilitate stretch and flow classes to improve flexibility and well-being
- Monitor progress, provide feedback, and help manage health risks
- Develop relationships with local community partners and stakeholders
- Meet set KPIs while working in a supportive, client-focused environment
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor Exercise Physiology or a Masters of Exercise Physiology Degree OR Certificate IV in Personal Training (minimum).
- Experience working with clients aged 65+ or in aged care settings
- Registration with AUSactive OR ESSA
- Current Police check, DL, First Aid & CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with elderly clients
- Comfortable using digital tools (smartphones, devices, email)
