Why Community Nursing?

In this role, you won’t be confined to a ward. Instead, you’ll take your clinical skills into the homes of older Australians — providing hands-on care, education, and support that empowers clients to stay safe, well, and independent in their own environment. Every visit is unique, and every client’s story matters.

What You’ll Do

• Provide clinical nursing care in the home — wound care, catheter and stoma management, diabetes support, and chronic disease management.

• Complete health assessments and develop personalised care plans.

• Collaborate with GPs, carers, and allied health professionals for truly holistic support.

• Educate clients and families, giving them confidence to manage their health.

The Role at a Glance

• Type: Permanent Part-Time (4 days per week, Tue–Fri)

• Shifts: Daytime only – no nights or weekends

• Location: Taree/Forster and surrounding areas – community-based care with home office flexibility

• Support: Ongoing clinical guidance, peer support, and autonomy to plan your day

• Resources: iPad, laptop, phone, company vehicle + paid travel time

What We’re Looking For

• Current AHPRA registration (Division 1 RN)

• Minimum 1 year Experience in community, aged care, or acute settings

• Strong communication and time management skills

• A passion for person-centred, community-based care

• Valid driver’s licence, Police Check, WWCC, CPR

• Willingness to travel for client care for up to 2 hours
