Permanent Part-Time Support Worker – Make a Real Difference Every Day

You’ll work with a diverse range of clients—both male and female, many of whom are elderly or have specific care needs—and they value a calm, confident, and caring presence. Position Details:

• Role: Permanent part-time Support Worker

• Availability: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 7am–5pm

• Locations: Maitland, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Dungog, and surrounding areas

• Travel: Required between client homes

What You’ll Do:

• Provide personal care and medication support tailored to each client’s needs

• Deliver behaviour support in line with clear, individual care plans

• Assist with domestic tasks (cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, dusting) to keep clients’ homes safe and tidy

• Support community access, including grocery shopping, appointments, and social outings

• Provide respite support for families and carers

• Complete simple documentation via our easy-to-use mobile app

What You’ll Bring:

• Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care (or equivalent)

• Current driver’s licence and a reliable car with comprehensive insurance

• First Aid/CPR certification and Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• NDIS Worker Check or National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for care documentation

• Flexible, calm, dependable, and excellent interpersonal skills

• A commitment to providing respectful care to both male and female clients, understanding that personal care may include gender-specific tasks

What You’ll Get:

• $34.59/hr PPT rate (+12% super)

• Permanent part-time shifts with consistent days (Tues, Wed, Fri)
